As well as celebrating our school award winners, we also recognised the amazing contribution to sport and PE that our Y6 children have made during their time at Bidston Avenue.

Each week, we celebrate our Stars of the Week, in a celebration assembly on Fridays. Here are this year's Stars of the Week, children who have earned various merit certificates, recipients of our School Value awards, as well as other awards, from school and outside clubs. Well done to everybody!
We returned to The Oval, Bebington, for one of our favourite days in the school calendar, Sports' Day. Despite the gloomy weather and a couple of showers, we enjoyed a wonderful day of sport and competition, joined by our friends from Taicang Experimental School, China.
Our Y6 footballers entered Prenton Primary's Cole Cup tournament in July, in two team. Both teams secured a place in the quarter finals, with the reds bringing back the cup for Bidston Avenue!
In July, we welcomed our friends from Taicang Experimental Primary School to Bidston Avenue, for the first chapter in our partnership with them. Children from Bidston Avenue will be travelling to China in 2018 to repay the visit.
We were named as finalist in the Echo Schools' Awards- Team Achievement Award and although were didn't win the award, we'd like to share with you how much we love PE and competitive sport at Bidston Avenue.
