When filling in the form, it is important that you request both Free School Meals and Free Milk.

If you think you may be entitled to Free School Meals, please contact the Free School Meals Team direct on 0151 606 2002 or  Applications are processed by the Local Authority on line or by telephone and not by the school.  You will need to have your full contact details, including National Insurance number plus child's name, date of birth and school they attend.  You will receive an immediate response to your application via email.  This will tell you if you are eligible and you will be sent a letter of confirmation.

Attendance Matters

It is a legal requirement for parents/carers to obtain the permission of the Headteacher before removing their child from school in order to take any leave in term time.

Parents do not have an automatic right to take their children out of school for leave during term time and may be issued with a Penalty Notice (£120 per parent per child) if they do so without prior arrangement with the Headteacher.

The legislation only allows the Headteacher to authorise such leave in exceptional circumstances.

Complete the form, attached above (pdf), and return it to school well in advance of any possible holiday booking or leave.

The school prospectus, attached above (pdf), gives a variety of information about our school.  It discusses our curriculum, it summarises some of our policies, and it tells you about staff and governors of the school.
