2017-18 has been another busy year of sport at Bidston Avenue. Well done and thank you to all those children who took part in one (or many) of our teams, representing the school. The video finishes with this years Y6 children who were recognised for making significant contributions to sport, during their time at Bidston Avenue.

Year 4 started ukulele lessons back in September, with Mr Gray. They performed two songs for Y5&6, Stay With Me by Sam Smith and I'm Yours by Jason Mraz, to show them what they had learnt.

Y4 visited London in June 2018. They stopped off at the Houses of Parliament, Downing Street, St. Paul's Cathedral, HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge Experience and the Tower of London.

The Great Bidston Bake Off 2018 took place on Thurs 26th April. Here are some of the highlights from the day and, of course, the amazing bakes. Thanks to all those who entered the Bake Off or enjoyed a slice of cake after school.
Two groups of Y5/6 children represented Bidston Avenue at a dance festival organised by Wirral School Games. The children have been working with Gemma Corcoran over the half term to rehearse their routines. Well done to all those involved!
After a two-day workshop, 5R performed Macbeth, with the help of Mr Long and Mr Leigh, for their parents.
