National School Sport Week and Sports Day 2020

This year, Sports Day is going to be pretty different to our usual visit to The Oval.  To help everyone take part, whether at home or in school, we have four activities for you to practise each day this week.  By Friday, we would like you to pick out your best results (your personal bests) from across the week and then send them into school using the link below.  We would also love to see you taking part in the activities so share any images or videos using the school Facebook page and @BAPS_PE on Twitter.

Miss Kelly will be demonstrating each of the activities and you can find out more about each one by downloading the activity cards below.  Each of the activities have been designed so you can try them at home with objects from around the house (lots of pairs of socks are needed!).

We normally split classes up into teams and this year is no different.  However, rather than represent a country, we have chosen four inspirational athletes to name our teams after.  You can find out about the athletes during the week.  To find out whose team you are in, check TTRockStars after 12pm on Saturday 20th June.

Children in school will be taking part in Sports Day activities- Y1&2 on Wednesday and Y3-6 on Thursday.  FS2 children back at school will be taking part in their own set of activities.
