  We have heard today that we have attained the Bronze School Games Kitemark 2012-13. This is a government led rewards scheme to reward commitment to PE & School Games.

   

  All schools across the country are able to apply, but we are one of a few to achieve it, especially in Wirral.

   

  You will have witnessed, first hand, our dedication if you attended our Sports Day at the Bebington Oval (Home of the 'Chariots of Fire' film).

• UK School Games

  Great news, we have been extremely fortunate to have received a number of tickets for the UK School Games in Sheffield. It is the biggest, most prestigious event for elite young athletes of a school age. The event is based on the Olympic and Paralympic model and is a major part of building on the inspiration created by the Olympics and Paralympics. Our children are being offered a fantastic opportunity to watch the young elite athletes who hope to go on to represent their country at international level. We have tickets available to watch athletics at the Don Valley Stadium on Saturday 14th September and gymnastics at Ice Sheffield on Sunday 15th September. Events on the Saturday are between 12 and 5pm so we will be leaving school at 9am and return at approximately 7.30pm. On Sunday the artistic gymnastics begins at 9am so we will be leaving school at 6.30am and will return at approximately 4.30pm. If your child would like to attend either or both events please fill in and return the reply slip (on the letter) as tickets will be allocated on a first come first basis.
